Facilities Management Services

Facilities Management Services (FMS) is responsible for the day-to-day operation, repair, and maintenance of USC’s buildings, infrastructure, and grounds on the University Park and Health Sciences campuses, the Wrigley Institute on Catalina Island, and various leased spaces.

Gas Cylinder Price Increase Effective July 1, 2025

After carefully reviewing our costs and services, we will be updating our pricing structure for gas cylinder rental and other related services effective July 1, 2025. Gas cylinder rental will increase to $ .40 per cylinder/per day. This change is necessary to contend with local competitors but still ensure that our prices are below the current marketplace.

MMMS Services	Current Rate	2025/26 New Rate
Cylinder Rental	$ .30 per cylinder/per day	$ .40 per cylinder/per day
Transfer of cylinders from your location to another room	$20.00 per cylinder	$25.00 per cylinder
Transfer of cylinders from your location to another building	$20.00 per cylinder	$40.00 per cylinder
Same day delivery (order received by 9:00 am with approvals)	$75.00	Minimum $75.00 up to 2 cylinders. $20.00 per cylinder after 2 cylinders.

Orders for gas cylinders can be placed on Workday under Material Management Request. Please refer to our website below for more detailed information on compressed gases.
