Important Information Regarding Material Management Orders

May 21, 2025

Material Management orders for gas cylinders and regulators will require earlier cut-off dates in an effort to fill all orders and schedule delivery before June 30th. Please place your orders in Workday as early as possible. Please see important details below with cut-off dates

Gas Cylinder Orders, Regulators

Specialty Gases – May 30, 2025, before 12:00 p.m. (ultra-high purity, high purity and research grade gases). Material Management Services will contact the supplier regarding these specialty gases and provide departments with estimated delivery dates. As a reminder, specialty gas can take four weeks or longer based on some gas shortages.

Non-Specialty Gases (gases that are in stock) – June 18, 2025, before 12:00 p.m.

Regulators – June 4, 2025, before 12:00 p.m.

Every effort will be made to fulfill all orders received by these cutoff dates no later than June 27, 2025. Orders must be fully approved to be processed. Any orders that are not filled by June 27^th due to pending gas deliveries from the vendor or approval will require a new order to be placed on July 1, 2025.
