Surplus Sales

What are the recent updates?

Due to the pandemic and the space needed to house all protective personal equipment (PPE) for the university, Surplus Sales regular business operations remain closed. In the interim, we have partnered with USC Facilities Planning and Management (FPM) in the efficient disposition of surplus items. The following are in effect until we resume regular business operations:

• To request pick-up of surplus items:
  • Take photos of item(s) for pick-up.
  • Email photos with a request for pick-up to Anthony Cross at crossant@usc.edu from FPM and copy Surplus Sales at surplus.sales@usc.edu.
  • Allow a minimum of ten (10) business days for pick-up.
• Departments will receive no monetary credit to their cost centers.
• In support of prudent stewardship of university assets, we will be expanding the current donation process to include all USC Students, Faculty and Staff on a first come, first serve basis.  Surplus items will be offered at no charge on an “as is” basis without warranty. • Surplus items will also be donated to non-profit organizations on an “as needed” basis.
