Mailing and Material Management Services is responsible for the administration and operation of incoming and outgoing mail and all shipping and receiving of items for the university. Primary duties include the pickup or receipt, sorting, and delivery of all university incoming, outgoing, and interdepartmental mail. - Important – Orders for Gas Cylinders – Thanksgiving HolidayDue to early closing on Wednesday, any orders received after 4:00 on Monday (November 24th) will be delivered on December 1st or 2nd . Please make sure your orders have all approvals before 4:00 on November 24th so that we can receive them in time to process for Tuesday delivery.
- Important Mail Pick-up/Delivery – Thanksgiving HolidayWEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2025 We will only provide morning mail pick-up and delivery services due to early USC department closures in anticipation of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Most mail delivery locations will be serviced between 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
- Surplus SalesExciting News! Surplus Sales will officially re-open on Friday, October 31, 2025, featuring our new online store!
- USC & USPS Passport EventOctober 28, 2025 USC Village (Room UVN 1200) 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Open to USC Students, Faculty, and Staff. The US Postal Service will be on campus at the Village to process applications for first time passport books and passport cards. Passport renewals are handled online at https://travel.state.gov/.
- USPS Price Increase Effective July 13, 2025Effective July 13, 2025, the United States Postal Service (USPS) will increase the price of a First-Class Forever stamp from $ .73 to $ .78. This change will also affect other stamp prices.
