Mailing and Material Management Services is responsible for the administration and operation of incoming and outgoing mail and all shipping and receiving of items for the university. Primary duties include the pickup or receipt, sorting, and delivery of all university incoming, outgoing, and interdepartmental mail.   • Important Mail Pick-up / Delivery – Winter Recess
    Due to the upcoming holiday season, USC Mailing and Material Management Services (MMMS) will be adjusting our standard services to accommodate Business/Academic department’s early afternoon closures, extended Winter Recess and Winter Recess. We will provide mail delivery/pickup December 29th and 31st as requested. We will be closed on December 26th and 30th.
  • Important Gas Cylinder Delivery Information – Winter Recess
    Due to the holiday and winter recess break, we will not be able to provide gas cylinder delivery during the period of December 24, 2025 through January 1, 2026. We will make every effort to fulfill your orders by December 23, 2025 (based on availability). The deadline to place your orders is listed below to ensure that you receive your gas cylinders by December 23, 2025.

    Exciting News! Surplus Sales will officially re-open on Friday, October 31, 2025, featuring our new online store!
  • USPS Price Increase Effective July 13, 2025
    Effective July 13, 2025, the United States Postal Service (USPS) will increase the price of a First-Class Forever stamp from $ .73 to $ .78. This change will also affect other stamp prices.
  • Gas Cylinder Price Increase Effective July 1, 2025
    We will be updating our pricing structure for gas cylinder rental and other related services effective July 1, 2025. Gas cylinder rental will increase to $ .40 per cylinder/per day. This change is necessary to contend with local competitors but still ensure that our prices are below the current marketplace
